The Journey so far.

B.S. (Before Santi)

Before the birth of my Artistic Spirit, Santi, I had only swam in the oceans of academy. Studying Psychology, working in mental health and wellbeing settings and contributing to profound transformational research. Along this journey I cultivated a spiritual practice involving deep nature contemplation, yoga and art journalling. With time, practice, patience and forgiveness I stand where I am today - an abstract artists now deeply connected to Islam. Alhamdullilah.

  • 'Jenny's, Tits M'Gee' Edition | Commission Piece

    I was introduced to Procreate whilst working on a jewellery business I wanted to develop shortly before the pandemic hit. Once it did, there were many elements that aligned which called that project Fin.

    Eventually, I began playing around with Procreate. One thing led to another and I ended up with a service on Fiver for “Bad Art”…

    One lovely lady purchased a handful, and low and behold, you see one of them here “Jenny’s, Tits M’Gee Edition”.

  • 'The Blackberry' | Digitally Real

    Shortly after my Fiverr commision pieces, I wanted to explore creating things that looked a little realler than Tit’s M’Gee.

    I particularly felt drawn to digitally paint a blackberry - as you see above.

  • Aladdins Magic | The Era of Symmetry

    Aladdins Magic was my first digital symmetrical piece I made.

    Yes, you may have guessed. The inspiration came from the wonder of what Aladdins Magic carpet might have looked like.

    Rich reds and expensive golden threads with the universe expanding in the background. All representing the rich, deep and radical love Aladdin held for Jasmine.

    Since this progression, symmetrical line art has become a new love in life that I could happily spend all my days and all my nights creating.

  • Hand Drawn Line Art | Black Ink Pens

    After a trip to Rome, I shifted my work onto paper using Staedtler Pigment Liners.

    Working directly onto paper without previous planning of pencil lines, I like to welcome all my mistakes and work around the lines and dots that weren’t intentionally made.

    The aim is to work with anything that wants to reveal itself & this is when I begun diving into what my subconscious wanted to tell me.

    'The First One' | Watercolour | A New Era

    Now trekking into unknown mediums, I decided one day to make an attempt with watercolours.

    My love for mushrooms and the magic of their spirit connected with me and here I found the opening of another world. A whole new way of expression.

    Next my intention is to combine my love for symmetry, organic shapes, free flow and watercolours… make sure you stay connected with me to join me on this journey of self expression.
